Compact machining center for medium-small productions
ACS has developed a new semi-industrial type system, suitable for small-medium production or prototyping of new bitting and key processing projects. The new K57 can be both automatic and semi-automatic, depending on the chosen set-up.
The K57 was born as a derivation from one of the different process units of our automatic linear machining center model K07. Unlike the machines on the market, the new K57 uses the original unit of the K07 model, thus ensuring the same robustness and quality of the output product that a machine for medium to large productions can provide.
The K57 machine can be used both in the stand alone version and in the advanced version, that is, including accessories such as a single-spindle bitting head with automatic tool change or a head with two spindles.
It is also possible to enrich this machine with accessories, such as a marking system, an automatic vertical stick feeding system and an automatic wel ordedered unloading system.
The machine is dimensionally compact and highly flexible. In addition, it is able to create very high quality keys, maintaining the standard ensured by machines for medium-high production. Unlike the latter, the new K57 allows you to reduce the costs of purchasing and operating equipment.
Flexibility and versatility in key processing
K57 lends itself to a flexible and versatile use. The functionality is easy to understand.
The system can be used both for key processing and for any other processing need such as milling, drilling, etc. managed by a Numerical Control. The programming of the Numerical Control is possible according to the ISO standard, and in the case of key bitting it is possible to use the special pre-configured programs.
The adoption of the vertical upright allows for a single unit that includes the vice and the bitting head. In this way it is possible to perfectly respect the parallelisms in the machining and obtain greater precision. In addition, the vertical upright offers the possibility of using a multi-spindle.
K57 allows key bitting for both the residential sector (traditional, points) and the automotive sector (snake, points).
